Yes, you can go on YouTube and look at training videos, you can read about training from books and even mimic what other people are doing in the gym.....but only a trainer can customize a strength training program for you that achieves your strength goals with attention to perfect lifting form and no injuries......big emphasis on no injuries..”

"Monjett has been of immense help to me in navigating through a diagnosis of colon cancer followed by an intense chemo regime. His support and guidance in maintaining my physical stamina throughout this process has been invaluable, and in many ways, essential to my healing process. I can't recommend him more."

"When I realized that my 80 year-old muscles were losing their tone fast, my acupuncturist son recommended Monjett. So Monjett came to my home, created a training program for me and instructed me in the basics of weight lifting. He trained me once a week, for 8 weeks, and I will always be grateful to him for that. It is my pleasure to recommend Monjett to you because he keeps detailed records of each training session and will guide you very carefully to making sure that you are stronger with each succeeding session.  His training sessions are specifically tailored for the needs of each client and he is sensitive and flexible enough to make on the spot changes when necessary."

"Stronger Over 50" is very applicable to my early fitness attitude, since I did not begin to take strength training seriously until I was closing in on 50. Monjett and I were childhood friends, growing up in the same Midwestern community—same school, church, social gatherings, even the same Boy Scout troop. As we entered our twenties, we moved to different cities: me, Los Angeles; Monjett, San Francisco. At that time Monjett had already taken a keen interest in strength training. I observed his sustained enthusiasm as he stayed with it, extolling its benefits to health and well-being. It took me another 20 years to concede, given the positive results and consistency I had observed in Monjett. Thereafter, whenever I visited him, or he, me, we always went to a local gym to workout.

Monjett categorically provided me with excellent training. He always emphasized form over weight. To this day I commend him, not only for his mastery of the skill, but also for his superior technique and methodology as a trainer. He is patient, persistent and engaging, all the traits of a superb teacher. One could do no better than engage Monjett as her/his fitness guru.

I'm 63, and have been training weekly with Monjett for about three years. In that time, I've become stronger and more flexible, and it's increasingly gotten easier to do daily activities. I've lost almost twenty pounds, my belt size is three inches smaller, and my arm, shoulder, and leg muscles are larger, firmer, and more defined. Also, Monjett is an excellent conversationalist, so I always look forward to training with him."

"I began training with Monjett Graham while working with a nutritionist to lose weight. To not lose muscle mass as I was losing weight, she had recommended I do strength training in addition to the aerobic exercise I was doing.

From the beginning, Monjett developed specific weightlifting and resistance programs for my upper and lower body. We worked out for an hour and a half per session,  initially three days a week, then four days a week. Monjett varied the program and frequently added new exercises. As I got stronger and developed more endurance, he introduced regular core work into my sessions.

I recognized early on that one of the most important aspects of working out with Monjett was his ability to identify and work safely within my constantly increasing strength limits, therefore protecting me from ever injuring myself.

By working out under Monjett's guidance, I have become remarkably stronger and significantly changed my physique. In combination with aerobic exercise and my weight loss, I feel as good as I had at other times of my life at seventy-two years old.

Without hesitation, I recommend Monjett to anyone who wants to improve their overall health and general well-being."

"I’m over 60 and have been training with Monjett for over 3 years. I started training with him because i wanted to incorporate strength training in my workout regimen to complement my swimming and martial arts activities. Since I’ve been training with monjett, I’ve seen a remarkable improvement in my arm strength. And I’m feeling much less arm and shoulder fatigue during and after swimming. Furthermore, as Monjett says, I have much more pronounced “drumstick” (forearms), “horseshoe” (triceps) and thicker biceps. Monjett is a great listener and consistently adjusted our workouts to meet my goals and takes into account my specific medical issues. He has been a pleasure to work with, especially during the pandemic. And his remote online training program has always been flexible to meet my scheduling needs. I highly recommend Monjett as a personal trainer."
