



TRAINING LOCATIONS
Clients who have chosen the StrongerOver 50 program have three choices to receive these unique strength training workouts. Due to Covid 19, some prefer the convenience of Zoom. Training with Zoom allows the client to receive detailed, safe exercise instruction as well as visual demonstrations of each exercise. A personalized training program is emailed to each client prior to the scheduled training session. This allows feedback by the client before the beginning of the session. As with all training sessions; sets, reps, and working load information is carefully recorded and serves as a reliable metric for strength progress.
The second choice of venue is the home visit. This involves the trainer (me) visiting the client’s home. This scheduled visit provides person-to-person training in the comfort of the home environment. The client is expected to have their own equipment be it resistance bands, dumbbells, kettlebells, or whatever the client chooses for training. Resistance bands are recommended for clients who are new to strength training and have no athletic background or experience. Besides providing less stress on the joints the bands are relatively inexpensive and can duplicate any exercise done with free weights. Careful personalized instruction makes strength gains fun and quickly observable.
The most popular choice, by far, is the StrongerOver 50 training studio in Marin County. Located in Kentfield, this training site offers a selection of dumbbells, Olympic barbell, resistance bands and landmine apparatus for serious muscle growth. A stationary bicycle is available for pre-workout warmups and aerobic programming.
The basic procedure of training at this location, as with the other venues, is the methodical recording of each personalized training session. This provides written hard copy evidence of progress. My clients range in ages from 14 to 84 and their progress has been undeniable. No client doing the StrongerOver 50 program has failed to make strength gains, regardless of age.
